A presentation that includes 195 past questions that can be used as a revision tool for Year 6 Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling or that can be used to pick and choose from for starter questions in English sessions. Questions are taken from the sample paper as well as the 2016, 2017 and 2018 paper. Easily usable as talking points with children practising a question at a time before then discussing the answer and why that is the case.

A mini-assessment activity that checks children's understanding of relative pronouns and relative clauses. This is useful to check what children have remembered/ learnt or as a little recap activity to then go through with children afterwards.

A mini biography/ fact file that introduces Usain Bolt for KS2 children.

A worksheet that gets children to practise using the correct version for there, their and they're. Included are 14 sentences where they need to make a decision on which the correct version is. Also included is the answer page so they can then check themselves afterwards and see where they may have gone wrong.

These writing help mats have been made for Year 6 in mind but can easily be used with other children. A mat that can help children develop their reading comprehension skills, focusing on the different types of questions they might be asked and the meaning of words in questions and what it is therefore looking for.

A worksheet that provides some tasks that work on tenses. The first activity requires children to sort words into whether they are past tense or present tense before completing a challenge question linked to read and read. A set of pictures that can be used as writing prompts for independent or engaging writing in KS2 English lessons.
